Facility Statement on Phased Re-Opening Guidance

August 12, 2020

Dear Families and Friends,

The Illinois Department of Public Health has issued Re-Opening Guidance for Nursing Homes effective August 14th, 2020.

While we all anxiously await the opportunity to return to a state of normalcy, the safety of our residents and staff remains our top and number one priority as we continue to battle the coronavirus.

We respectfully ask that you remain patient as these phased guidelines are purely conditional, meaning that several factors including; community and facility positivity rates, facility outbreak status, staffing levels, individual risk assessments and medical care will dictate the levels of re-opening and may even restrict access or fluctuate on a daily basis.

In addition, 24-hour advanced scheduling, health screenings, dual masking, minimum 6-foot distancing, 2 visitor-same household, visitation time limits and contract tracing information are required. We strongly encourage the use of electronic visits and outdoor visitation over any other means of facility visitation as outlined in the IPDH guidelines as the best means to ensure the safety of both residents and staff.

Please use the schedule-a-visit portal provided on the website to arrange any visits or ask questions related to your family member or our visitation requirements.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together during these extraordinary times.

Sincerely,

Administrator
